Mrs. Eva W. Dixon, 66, wife of James S. Dixon, 336 E. 2nd St., died at her home Sunday at 11 AM. Mrs. Dixon had been ill for some time. She was the daughter of Van Horn and Jeanette Willits and was born in Toledo, Illinois, July 16, 1869. She lived in Ottumwa for the last 24 years. Surviving are her husband; one son, Donovan Dixon of Ottumwa and one sister, Mrs. Vide Ridell of Tampico, Illinois, and one brother, Harry Willits of New Boston, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel Tuesday at 3:30 PM conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial be made in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
