Oldest In Church Is Dead At 86
Mrs. Octavia Rifflar, 86, of 217 South Graves St., died Saturday at 11:30 PM at her home. Mrs. Rifflar was the oldest living member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Zwer of Ottumwa; and four sons Lewis and Joe Flactiff of Ottumwa and Mike Mitchell Flactiff of Mitchellville, and Adolph Flactiff of Bigelow, Arizona; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Latter Day Saints church conducted by A. E. Goodwin pastor, at the time to be announced later. Burial be in the Shaul cemetery.
