Mrs. Miller, Old Citizen Dies Sunday

Mrs. Delpha Miller, 71, a resident of Wapello County all her life, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Effie Box, Washington, Sunday. She was born August 14, 1864 in Wapello County. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Grace Williams of Highland Center, Mrs. Beulah Vannoy of Pulaski, Mrs. Dorothy Wood of Selma, Mrs. Box of Washington and Mrs. Madge Graham and Miss Nettie Miller of Ottumwa; five sons, Floyd, Arnold, Claire, Roy and Kenneth, all of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Cora Connelly of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Roy Lowenberg of Chicago and J. A. Lowenberg of Ottumwa and 15 grandchildren. Her husband, J. C. Miller, and one daughter, Blanche preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Methodist Episcopal Church, Agency, conducted by the Rev. C. R. Reed. Burial be made in the Agency cemetery. The body will remain at the Jay funeral Chapel until time for services.
