Ottumwa Courier March 27, 1936

Mary Rice, about 70, died at 7:45 PM Tuesday at her home north the city. No immediate relatives survive. Funeral services were held at 8:30 AM Saturday at the Vaughan funeral Chapel and at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. There requiem mass will be celebrated by the Rev. J. H. Courtney. Burial be made in the Calvary cemetery.
