G. Cudworth Dies Today In Ottumwa
George H. Cudworth, 63, died at his home, 167 N. Davis St., today at 5:30 AM. He was the son of John and Emily Cudworth and was born in Missouri, January 18, 1873. He had been a resident of Wapello County for 62 years. In August 31, 1892, he was married to Emma Loy. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational church. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, William, Henry and Charles, and four daughters, Mrs. Iola Roush, Virgie, Ruth and Helen Cudworth, all of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Eva Crane, Ottumwa, and five grandchildren. Her parents, four sons, and two brothers preceded him in death. Short funeral services will be held at the home, 167 N. Davis St., Saturday at 1:30 PM and at the Plymouth Congregational church at 2 PM conducted by the Rev. O. B. Preston. Burial be made in the Eldon cemetery.
