Ottumwa Courier March 4, 1930.

J. H. Allbright, 59, of 105 S. Cherry St., died at the Ottumwa hospital at 9 PM Tuesday. Born in Jefferson County, Mr. Allbright had been an Ottumwa resident for the last 24 years. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church and the A. O. U. W. Surviving are his wife, Grace; one son, Joe F. and one granddaughter, Creta Beth all of Ottumwa; one brother, Homer of St. Paul, Minnesota and one sister, Mrs. Robert Allen, Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held in the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church Thursday at 2 PM conducted by the Rev. Robert W. Swick. Burial be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. The body will remain at the Lester Jay funeral home until Thursday. Pallbearers will be William Anderson, Ira Glover, Clarence Coffin, D. B. Houke, Oscar Benson and W. F. Fishbeck.
