Mrs. Carrie Schultz
Mrs. Carrie May Schultz, 43, wife of Giles Schultz, died at her home, Ottumwa route 3, Monday at 10:45 PM she was the daughter of Chrisley and Margaret Hughey and was born in North Carolina, February 4, 1893. She had lived in Ottumwa and Wapello County for the past 12 years. Surviving are her husband, Giles; five children, Woodrow, Grace, Giles Jr., Anna and William, all at home; her father Chrisley Hughey, Asheville, North Carolina; three sisters, Miss Ollie Hughey and Miss Lizzie Black, both of Asheville and Mrs. Clinton Bramlett of Canton, North Carolina, and one brother; John Hughey of Skitook, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the Johnson’s funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial will be made in Ottumwa cemetery.
