Mrs. Michael, 70, Succumbs Sunday
Mother Of Well-known Ottumwa Man Had Been Resident Of County 46 Years.
Mrs. Eleanor R. Michael, 70, wife of H. W. Michael, died Sunday at 2 PM at her home, Ottumwa route 6. Should been a resident of Wapello County for the past 46 years. She was a member of The Willard Street Methodist Episcopal Church, Ottumwa chapter No. 112, O. E. S, Wapello White Shrine No. 4, Royal Neighbors and the Pythian Sisters. Surviving are three sons, O. H. T. F. and D. H., all of Ottumwa; a sister, Mrs. Maude Marshall of Des Moines; one brother, E. J. Reece of Ottumwa; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 PM at the home, conducted by the Rev. A. P. Keast. Burial will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. The body was taken to the home at 1:30 PM today. Pallbearers will be Fritz Heinje, Harvey Prosser, Charlie Prosser, Aba Jackson, William McElroy, and Fred Carter.
