ELDON~~ Anna Drake, 92, of Humboldt formerly of Eldon, passed away Sept. 27, 2007, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge.

No services are planned at this time.

The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting the family.

Memorials may be made to the Eldon Fire and Rescue.

Anna Eaton, the daughter of Fred and Blanche (Onley) Eaton, was born Christmas Day, 1914 in Wapello County, Iowa.

She was raised and educated at Eldon and graduated from high school in 1932.
Following her education, she worked in her father's grocery store as a clerk.

She was united in marriage to H. Wayne Drake and the couple made their home at Eldon where Anna continued to work as a grocery clerk until her retirement. Mr. Drake passed away in 1992 and she continued to maintain her home at Eldon until moving to Humboldt in June of 2006. She became a resident of the Humboldt Care Center North in July of 2007.

Mrs. Drake is survived by her son, Robert Drake of Humboldt; grandchildren, Jill Lampman of Titonka and Isaac Drake of Dakota City; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Josh and Jessie Lampman and Dakota Drake; and niece, Beverly Parsley of Atlanta, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H. Wayne Drake; two brothers;
and one sister.
