Willis A. Zellers, 51, Had Been Resident Of Ottumwa For 30 Years.
Willis A. Zellers, 51, died at his home, 506 Ellis Ave., Friday at 5:30 PM. Mr. Zellers came to Ottumwa in 1905 and has been employee of the American Railway Express Co. since that time. He was cashier and agent at the time of his death. He was the son of Ivan and Rebecca Zellers and was born in Humeston, October 26, 1884. He was married to Estella Wilson in 1905. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ivan at home and Dale of Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Smith of Ottumwa and Miss Marion Zellers at home; his father, Ivan W. Zellers of Ottumwa; two brothers, Guy of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Keith of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Bybee of Moulton and Mrs. Leah Carr of Ottumwa and three grandchildren. He was a member of the M. W. A. Local No. 103. Funeral services will be held at the Johnson funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM conducted by the Rev. U. V. White. Burial be made in Memorial Lawn cemetery. The body will be taken to the home at 5 PM today returned to the Chapel at noon Sunday.
