Mrs. Eva Sofie Larson, 75, widow of Paul Larson, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl O. Edmund, Ottumwa route 1 on North Elm St., Wednesday night at six o'clock. She was born in Sweden, June 11, 1860 and came to the United States and directly to Ottumwa, June 1, 1905. She has lived here since. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Surviving are one son, Siegfried A. Larson of Sacramento, California; three daughters, Mrs. Emma P. Edmund of Ottumwa, Mrs. Hilma J. Anderson of Chicago, and Mrs. Anna S. Hall of Pasadena, California; one nephew Elnar (sp?) Larson of Chicago; a brother and sister in Sweden and 13 grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1914. Friends may call at Johnson funeral Chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.
