Frank L. Burton, 77 formerly of Ottumwa, died at his home in Chicago at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday. The son of the late Judge Edward L. and Mary J. Burton he was born in Ottumwa, November 27, 1868. He resided in Ottumwa until about 40 years ago, when he moved to Chicago. While here he operated a printing shop on South Green street. For several years he was proof reader for the Chicago Tribune. He also formerly was a member of the Shubert mandolin orchestra. He was the last member of his family and is survived by his wife the former Matilda Truly. The body will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel to await completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Frank L. Burton formerly of Ottumwa, who died at his home in Chicago, last Wednesday, will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel here at 10 a.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. Louis H. Matheus, pastor of the Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Floyd Saner, John Brady, John Moon, Bailey Webber, Sam Burton and Richard Hofmann.
