James M. Clossen 78, of 623 West Second street at the Ottumwa hospital Sunday at 3 a. m. He was the son of Thomas and Mary Willis Clossen and was born December 21, 1868 in Henry County. He has been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 13 years. Surviving are: his wife Edith M. Clossen, one daughter, Mrs. Harold J. Gilchrest of Omaha; two brothers, Charles Clossen of Hedrick and B.W. Clossen of Martinsburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. C.R. Reed of the Willard Street Methodist church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
