Norbert Evan Davis Sir, 78, of Chicago, died Sunday at St. Ann’s Hospital in Chicago. He had retired in Milwaukee as a machinist for the Milwaukee Railroad. He was the son of Evan and Bridget Davis, born at Chillicothe, Mo., June 3, 1890. A resident of Ottumwa until about 1952, he was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church while here. Surviving are one son, Norbert Davis of Chicago, and two brothers, John C. Davis and James B. Davis of Ottumwa. His wife, Agnes and two brothers, preceded him in death. Services are tentatively planned for Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Church. The casket will be at the Traul Funeral Home.
