William N. Darner; formerly of Farsom died at the Ottumwa Hospital Thursday at 6:15 a.m.
He was the son of John and Etta BECK DARNER.

He was a farmer in the Fremont area for 20 years prior to living in Chicago; where he lived until two years ago. Since then; he and his wife have lived in Ottumwa nursing home.

Mr. Darner married Bertha McMICKLE on March 12, 1902 at Fremont. She survives and is a resident at Good Samaritan Center.

Also surviving are one brother; Fred Darner of Oskaloosa; one sister Mrs. Ollie EBELHEISER of Hedricks; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was two sons; Paul and Darrell; one brother, and one sister. The body is at the Reece funeral home. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Saturday.
