Obit for Nancy A. Root April 1, 1934
Mrs. Nancy Ann Root, 88 years old, widow of Charles L. Root died at her home, 1220 Hayne Street, at 4:45 P.M. Sunday. She is survived by two sons, William Root at home and Wesley Root of Kansas city, Mo., four daughters, Mrs. Melissa Gilroy and Mrs. Clara Springer of Ottumwa, Mrs. Harriett Nelson of Austin, MN., and Mrs. Elmira Arnold of Chicago; twenty-seven grandchildren,forty-four great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Stoops will officiate. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. Nancy is buried by her son, Harrison in the Shaul Cemetery. Charlie Levi Root is buried in the veterans section. O~OLD ORIGINAL PART
