Herman Lee Bryson, 76, of 301 South Ransom Street, died at 11:20 a.m. today at the Wapello county hospital.
The son of John and Sarah Bryson, he was born in Brimfield, Ill., June 1, 1871. A resident of Ottumwa for the past 54 years, he was a retired employee of the C.B. & Q. freight house. He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational church and the I.O.O.F. Lodge, No. 129.
Mrs. Bryson is survived by one brother, Albert L. Bryson of Ottumwa; one niece and three nephews.
The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.
