Mrs. Gertie Drummond; wife of B.H. Drummond was found dead at 11 a.m. today at her home 5 miles South of Ottumwa on Bloomfield Road. Death is believed to be a heart attack.

She was born June 6, 1888 near Kirkville. Her marriage to B.H. Drummond took place October 5, 1919 at Highland Center. The couple has lived in the Ottumwa and Highland Center communities throughout their married life.

Mrs. Drummond is survived by her husband; one daughter Mrs. Alene Blakenbroker in Kansas; four brothers; Dave Newell of Ottumwa, Kirk Newell of Chillicothe,MO., George Newell of St. Paul MINN., and Zack Newell of Oskaloosa; and three sisters; Mrs. Willis Shaw of Albia, Mrs. Robert Brown of Eldon, and one sister in Decorah.

The body is at the Community funeral home awaiting completion of arrangements.
