Ottumwa Courier May 27, 1935

Mrs. Helen Drummond 84 widow of Labon Drummond died at the home of her son B.H. Drummond; eight miles Northwest of the City of Ottumwa route 6 at 6 p.m. Sunday.

She was a pioneer resident of Wapello County, and had spent her life in and near Highland Center. Her husband preceded her in death March 6, 1915.

Besides her son; she is surviced by a sister Mrs. Jennie Williams of Kirkville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lester J. funeral home with the Rev. E.R. Mitchell ; pastor of the West End Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Don McCormick, W.R. Mick, S.A. Kitterman, Cleve Harter, Roy Harter and Walter Koontz.
