ROCK ISLAND -- Services for Leona Van Lanigan, of North Hollywood, Calif., formerly of Rock Island, will be Tuesday at Rock Island Memorial Park. Mrs. Van Lanigan died June 24, 2003, in Valley Village, Calif., where she resided with her nephew, Ronald Browder, and his family since 1985. She was born in 1907 in OTTUMWA, Iowa. She moved in 1953 to Los Angeles, where she established the California-Connecticut Mortgage Co. She is remembered with love by six nephews, five nieces and 22 great nieces and nephews.
