LIVED OVER A CENTURY

BOOKER FOX, a colored Methodist minister, died at his home in Ottumwa at the age of 100 years. He is survived by his seventh wife. He was the father of 27 children, six of whom are living, and is said to have 100 descendants. He had been a preacher for 82 years. He was not educated, but possessed a wonderful memory, and was able to quote almost every verse of Scripture that he had ever heard. He was at one time a slave in Tennessee.
