Charles W. Johnson 59 year old printer of 306 North Sheridan died Saturday at 3 p.m.

At the time of his death he was employed at Weberts printing company. He had ben in the trade for more that 38 years, and was a member of the Printers Union.

The son of Olaf and Mary Johnson he was born Nov. 23, 1890 and had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 43 years.His mariage to Beulah Boyles took place in Ottumwa September 14, 1919. He was a World War 1 vet and served overseas for 12 months. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife; one son Robert E. Johnson of Washington, D.C., one grandson Robert Carl Johnson of Washington D.C., three nephews; Carl Swenson of Ottumwa, Dick Minor and Fred Minor and one niece; Mrs. Lewis Miller of Oregon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. Johnson funeral home. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
