Funeral services for Arthur Galey 74, of 1120 Gurly Street who died at the Ottumwa Hospital at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Clyde V. Erwin pastor of the Plymouth Congretional Chuch will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Mr. Galey is survived by four sons; James B. Galey of Des Moines, Daniel D. Galey and Paul both of Chicago, and Sgt. Theodore Galey with the U.S. Air Force in Germany; two daughters Miss Louise Galey of Chicago, and Mrs. Elizabeth Eberhard of Garrett, IND., and seven grandchildren; a brother Charles E. Galey of Ottumwa, and two sisters; Mrs. Fred Githens of Ottumwa and Mrs. Nettie Aldridge of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada also survive.

He was married to Lucy Baker in 1915 in Ottumwa. She died in 1943. He was also preceded in death by two sons; John in 1939, and Richard in 1957.He was a State Employe in Des Moines for eight years prior to his retirement in 1957.
