MRS. LYDIA A. WILEY OF ROUTE 6
BORN IN WAPELLO COUNTY IN 1845

Mrs. Lydia A. Wiley 94, lifetime resident of this county died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Earl Sheets of Ottumwa Route 6 today at 5:15 a.m.

Mrs. Wiley was the daughter of James and Elizabeth McMillen and was born in Wapello County May 27, 1845. She was the last survivor of a large family.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Sheets; two sons Bert Wiley of Ottumwa Route 1 and Harve Wiley of Agency; 13 grandchildren and three great~grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1902; three sons and one daughter.

Short services will be held at Johnsons Funeral Chapel Sunday at 2:30 p.m and the Davis Street Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Roy C. Leeds. Buried will be at Agency City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lee R. Baunte, Harry L. McMillin, James V. Buchanan and Fred McElroy.
