AGENCY — Ann Weenike Yeoman, 54, of rural Agency, died at 6:55 a.m. Aug. 26, 2008, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

She was born March 27, 1954 in Ottumwa to Roy H. and Kathleen Jones Weenike.Ann was a graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1972 and of the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 1976. She worked in Occupational Health, Maternal and Infant Care, Internal Medicine and at the Keokuk County Rural Health Study. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Surviving is her daughter, Sarah Yeoman of Agency; Ann’s partner, Nick Hoffman of Agency; her father, Roy Weenike of rural Ottumwa; a sister, Mary Weenike of Seattle, Wash.She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Weenike.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Ralph Kister officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.Memorials may be made to Hospice, 312 E. Alta Vista, Ottumwa, IA 52501.
