Lemuel Russell Miller of 337 North Weller died Tuesday at 9 p.m. at the Anderson Nursing home at 814 Grant Street.

Son of George and Frances Miller he was born at Chariton, Iowa. He had been a resident for the past 41 years and was a member of the Local Carpenters Union.

Surviving are his wife Hazel;a son George W. Miller, EuGallie, Florida, one daughter; Mrs. Catherine Mungoven of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jessie. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Reece Funeral home. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
