Charles R. "Pete" Lint 64 of 1519 Locust Street died at 5:50 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The son of Walter L. and Margaret McCulloch Lint, he was born July 2, 1914 at Agency.He was a plummer and worked for Ellsworth Plumbing, McGee plumbing, and Blake plumbing; and was presently employed by Peoples Plumbing and Heating.

He served in the Navy during WW II. He was a member of Local No. 33 plumbers and Steam Fitters Union in Des Moines. He married Frances Doak May 20, 1945.

Survivors; his wife; a daughter Kathie Bissell of Des Moines; a grandson; and sisters; Helen Tealsdale and Pauline LaGrande of Ottumwa.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Henry Rugel of Wesley Methodist church officiating.
