Thomas J. Huston Dies in New York

Obit from the Ottumwa Courier, Monday, 6 October 1924, page 1 column 6.

Thomas J. Huston died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the New York hospital, New York City. Death was caused by pleuro-pneumonia and followed a short illness.

Mr. Huston was born April 2, 1884 in Ottumwa. He lived here until thirteen years ago. He was employed as a linotype operator at The Courier. Most of the time since leaving here he has lived in New York and at the time of his death was with the Charles Francis Press, a large job printing plant.

Mr. Huston is survived by Louise, his wife, Mrs. B. Huston of Ottumwa, his mother, and by three brothers, John and Henry of Ottumwa and Chris J. of Eddyville.
The plans for the funeral have not yet been completed.

Requiem Mass for Thomas J. Huston will be held in St Mary's church at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning, with Very Rev. J M Walsh celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery.
Mr. Huston died last Saturday in New York and his body was to arrive late this afternoon.
It will rest at the home of his mother, Mrs. B. Huston, 120 North Holt Street, this evening.
The funeral cortege will leave there at 9:15 o'clock tomorrow morning.
