Franklin B. Hartley, 77, of Davenport, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at his home.

There will be no services. Arrangements are by Weerts, Davenport.

He was born in 1929, to Phillip and Violet Hartley. He married Dorothy L. Petersen on Aug. 13, 1949, in Iowa City.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; children, Diana Hartley, Madeline Torres and Franklin D. Hartley, all of Davenport; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Woodford, Long Grove; and brothers, Donald Hartley, Bloomfield, Colo., and Wally McCormick, Davenport.
