Icel Dellene "Dee" Glattfelder

OTTUMWA — Icel Dellene “Dee” Glattfelder, formerly of Ottumwa, died March 9, 2008 at her home in Las Vegas, Nev.

She was born Oct. 12, 1932 in Albia, Iowa and was raised in the home of Elmer and Opal Ballengar Henderson. She married Rex W. Glattfelder March 30, 1955.

She had worked at Nicosin Paints, West End Pharmacy, Hoffman Drug, and co-owned and operated Del-Re restaurant and Lounge in Bloomfield with her husband.

Surviving is her husband, Rex W. Glattfelder; sons, David (Linda) Huston of Columbia, Mo. Rex C. (Candi) Glattfelder of Ottumwa, Iowa and Bruce J. Glattfelder of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter Dinna Witkowski of Channahon, Ill.; a brother, George (Ginger) Henderson of Albia, Iowa; a half brother, Lowell Huston; a half sister, Lois Hartley; 11 grandchildren; eight geat-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.Dee was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa.
