Mrs. Goldie Courtney; 63, former Ottumwan who has been making her home with her son Charles Winters at Floris; died at 7:00 a.m. today at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Ottumwa.

She is survived by two stepsons; Charles Courtney of Newton and Virgil Courtney of Hiteman. She was preceded in death by her husband George W. Courtney.

The services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Community Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanton Jackson of the Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery with the Veterans of Foreign Wars serving as pall bearers.
