Courtesy of the Ottumwa CourierOTTUMWA~~ Junior Orton Clark, 87, died at 11:48 p.m. April 12, 2006, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born April 18, 1918 in Ottumwa to Monroe O. and Eva Mae Hurr Clark.
A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, he had worked for Kenmar Upholstery, and had owned and operated Clark Upholstery. He loved cars and enjoyed working on them. He also enjoyed all kinds of music.
Surviving is a son, Raleigh D. (Dixie) Clark of Eldon; two daughters, Denise D. (Edward) Eakins of Ottumwa and Susan Y. (Michael) Billings of Fremont; three grandchildren, Scott W. Eakins, Lisa McCoy and Kibbon Roberts; three great-grandchildren, Jacob McCoy, Joshua McCoy and Jaden Roberts.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur M. Clark; and a companion, Phyllis Fuller.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
