OTTUMWA - Anna G. Pilcher, 97, of 529 Appanoose died at 1:10 p.m. Feb. 26, 2005, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born Sept. 26, 1907, in South English to Thomas and Effie White Guthrie. She married Rolland Pilcher and he preceded her in death.
A resident of Ottumwa all of her life, she had worked for John Morrell and Company, retiring in 1972.
Survivors include a brother, Leland Guthrie, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and John Guthrie; eight sisters, Ella Breckenridge, Ada Mote, Jessie Hootman, Lora Guthrie, Tina Parker, Margaret Shafer, Erma Paris and Ida Riley.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Kendall Holder officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Monday with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Monday.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society.
