William Simpson of 717 Norris died at his home this morning. Services are pending at Jay Funeral Home.

Funeral services for William B. Simpson who died Thursday at 5:00 pm. at his home will be Saturday at 10 am. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

The Rev. Richard Von Oh will officiate and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Simpson retired from John Morrell and Company in 1953 and had been in failing health for several years.

The son of John and Emma Simpson he was born July 23, 1888 at Columbia, Mo. and had been a resident of Ottumwa since 1942.

Survivors include six sons; Rev Allen Simpson of Rootstown, Oh., Charles Simpson of Chicago, John and Robert Simpson of of Milwaukee, Wis., William Simpson Jr. of Detroit, and Donald Simpson of Ottumwa; three daughters; Mrs. Marjorie Manley, and Virginia Simpson both of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Frances Tompkins of Riverside, Calif., and one sister Fannie Simpson also of Columbia; three sons and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
