OTTUMWA — Martha Louise Hourihan Clements, 91, died Nov. 5, 2007, at her home in St. Petersburg, Fla.Born January 2, 1916 to Minnie and Conn Hourihan in Ottumwa, Iowa. Martha moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., with her husband, Lester Paul Clements in 1945. They were married 55 years before his death on Oct. 24, 1994.A retired nurse, Martha served at Bay Pines (Fla.) Veterans Administration Hospital for 33 years. Survivors include daughter, Jane Cash of Oakton, Va., daughter, Mary Gottschalk of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mary’s children, Leslie Manias of Gainsville, Fla. and John Gottschalk of St. Petersburg; sister, Emogene Olinger of Ottumwa, Iowa and numerous other nephews and nieces throughout the country.Martha will be buried next to Lester in a private ceremony at Bay Pines National Cemetery.Gee and Sorenson Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, Fla.
