ELDON — Larry Lee Sedore, 71, of rural Eldon died at 12:25 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at home.

He was born Nov. 17, 1935, near Cliffand, west of Eldon, to Arthur P. and Mildred Mooney Sedore. He married Carolyn Northup May 27, 1955 in Memphis, Mo.

He spent his life farming in the Eldon area.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Georgia Gustafson (Jerry) of Eldon and Cathy Clubb (Darrell) of Keosauqua; a son, Jim Sedore (Ethel) of Selma; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosemary Liebold of Davenport and Verla Benson of Fort Madison.

He was preceded in death by is parents.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds; the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery, west of Selma.

Visitation will open at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday.
