Ottumwa Courier Jan. 9, 1947

Mrs. Winnie D. Rush 74 of 1218 North Wapello street died at 12:45 at the Anderson nursing home.

She was born Aug. 12, 1872 in Ringgold county, the daughter of David and Lavona Fogleman. She had lived in Ottumwa since 1900.

Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. H.L. Picken, Mrs. Willis J. Smith, Mrs. S.A. Yochum all of Ottumwa and Mrs. G.J. Butcher; Bremerton, Wash. Also surviving are two sisters Mrs. J.L. Dreyer of Kirksville, MO. and Mrs. W.S. Worford Des Moines, and two brothers; N.D. Fogelman, Red Lodge, Montana and W.W. Fogleman of Butte, Montana; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Saturday at at 1:30 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home, in charge of the Rev. HaroldRoberts; pastor of the First Chritian church. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
