Marlow W. Rush 1218 North Wapello street died Sunday at 4:45 pm. after a lingering illness.

He was born March 29, 1869 at Moultrie County Illinois; the son of Michael and Abagail Rush.

Surviving are his wife; Winnie; four daughters; Mrs. Harold Picken, Mrs. Willis J. Smith, and Mrs. Steven Yochum of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Gart Butcher of Bremerton, Wash.; a brother Argus D. Rush of Long Beach and a sister Mrs. W.B. Matin; also of Long Beach, and eight grandchildren still survive.

Mr. Rush was a member of the Christian church in Delphos, Iowa, and amember of the I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 9.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lester J. funeral home in charge of the Rev. Harold Roberts, pastor of the First Christian church of Ottumwa. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery with the Odd Fellows Lodge in charge of the services at the grave.
