Wilber A. Haney 85 of Good Samaritan Center died at 1:25 a.m. February 5, 1984.
He was born December 15, 1898 in Selma to George and Lemma Loomis Haney. He married Iona Strunk on April 5, 1921 at Fairfield. A retired barber, he was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife; and a nephew Craig Moffitt of Bettendorf.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home; the Rev. George Gamble officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald J. Tharp, Thomas Johnson, and Marion, Willis, Dennis and Maurice Moffitt.
The casket will be closed as the service begins.
