OTTUMWA — Teresa Lynn Baker, 32, of 822 Queen Anne, died at 2 a.m. April 30, 2007, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

She was born Jan. 11, 1975 in Ottumwa to Tim and Carol Cullinan Baker.

A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1993, and of Ottumwa Beauty Academy, she was a beautician at Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center and co-owner of S & T Mowing. She attended Davis St. Christian Church.

She enjoyed working with flowers and watching Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart race sprint cars at Oskaloosa.

Surviving is her fiancé, Shawn Hartman of Ottumwa; a son, Alex Phillips at home; a daughter, Lynnissa Baker at home; her mother, Carol Bainbridge of Ottumwa; her stepfather, LeeRoy Proctor of Ottumwa; sister, Tammy Niner of Ottumwa; aunt and uncle, Anita and Rick Baker of St. Louis, Mo. and several other aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; and a best friend, Debbie Derby of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tim Baker.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Carpe officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial has been established for her children’s education.
