2 DEAD 4 HURT in Head-on crash near Bloomfield {Ottumwa Courier Jan 2, 1977}

Son of Frank and Eva Shedenhelm Rounceville 101 S. Van Buren street, Ottumwa. He was a former operator of George Pizza at Ottumwa and a member of the YMCA.

He married Mary Catherine Ihrns in 1971. She is hospitalized in Iowa City for injuries sustained in the crash.

Also surviving are a son James; his parents; four brothers Jack of Flippin, Arks., Larry of Dowlling, Ill., Michael of Hayward. Ca., and Martin of Ottumwa, and three sisters Valetta Lamb of Davenport, Rita Snook of Le Clair, and Sandra Judy of Flippin, Arks.

Funeral services will be held at Johnsons Funeral home Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Payne of the Ransom Street Church of Christ will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gerald Housley, Donald and Ronald Lewis, Ron Brown, Junior Cramer, Don Lord,Gary Lanigan, and Jack Raymond. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.

Aged 25 years.

I was only five years old when you died uncle Franky, but I can remember your face and your voice very well. Rest in peace.
