OTTUMWA — Carl Wayne Andrews, formerly of Ottumwa, passed away from complications of a bleeding ulcer on March 28, 2007, in Batesville, Ark.

Carl had resided in Mt. View, Ark. since June of 1985.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1930 in Jasper, Mo. He was employed in Ottumwa by Meadow Gold Dairy until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of the School Ave. Church of Christ in Mt. View and had been a member of the Knights of Pythias.

Survivors include his spouse, Darlene Andrews; and three children, Amanda (Steven) Bacon, Brenton (Jerri) Andrews and Lisa Andrews; seven grandchildren, Sarah (Brent) Simmons, Wendy Bacon, Jesse, Jenny and Arron Andrews and Bryan and Katy Andrews; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Viola) Andrews of Kansas City, Mo. and Forrest (Myrna) Andrews of Tulsa, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Sylvia Andrews; and a grandson, Roger Bacon.

A memorial service was conducted Saturday, March 31, at School Ave. Church of Christ in Mt. View, Ark. with Mike Spillman officiating. Burial was private.
