Mount Pleasant:: BLINN E. SOURWINE, 66, of Mt Pleasant died March 11, 2002, at his residence of cancer.

He was born Jan. 20, 1936 in Burlington to MARY and CHESTER SOURWINE. He married ANNA MAE COLLETT on March 08, 1958, at the First Methodist Church in Fairfield.

He is survived by his wife; his mother; daughters CHRYSTAL BALDWIN of Pleasantville, AMY STREETER of Keota and CARRIE FLUHARTY of Kalona; sons BRYAN of Overland Park, Kansas, and BENJAMINE of Mt.Pleasant; a CHARLENE KLUMP of Bowie, Arizona; 14 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday, March 15, at First United Methodist Church at Mount Pleasant. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa.

Visitation will be noon-9PM today, Thursday, in QWeir Funeral Home, 213 N. Main, Mount Plasant, Iowa, with family present from 5-9pm.

Memorials may be directed to Oakland Community Church, the Henry County Cancer Fund, and Crossroads Hospice of Southeast, Iowa.
