HITEMAN::LESTER VAN Buskirk, 77 of Hiteman died of complications following a stroke on April 09, 2000 at his home.

He was born may 25, 1922, in Fairfield, Iowa Jefferson County to CLEO VAN BUSKIRK and ONZA PARROTT VAN BUSKIRK.

The services will be 11 pm Thurdsay at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines,Iowa. Burial will be in Avon Cemetery.

Family visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
