My second great grandfather's brother, Thomas Corry, died in 1863 in Lowden, Cedar County, Iowa. His wife was Margaret Jones Corry. They apparently attended St. Paul's Church in Wheatland as Thomas's death is mentioned in the diary of the pastor, John Conrad Klar.

Thomas is listed in the 1850 Census, Bonaparte Township, Van Buren County with his wife, Margaret, and four sons and a 60-year old woman, Margery Barr. He occupation is lumberman.

Are there records that could shed more light on Thomas Corry and his family while they were in Van Buren County. Thomas and Margaret had a daughter, Mary J who may have been born while they lived in Van Buren County (she was 8 years old in 1860, by which time they were in Cedar County).
