info on Smith, Swank: Cantril Area

Looking for Twin Brothers Gerald and Harold Smith of Des Moines, Harold had a son named Donald. They were in Des Moines in 1948. I'm interested in their mother Mary Saar Smith Swank, She was married to Lee Swank. I'm trying to find Lee's mother.

I got and e-mail from a person that had a copy of "A history of Our First Century, Cantril Iowa 1872-1972" He said it was done by local people and there is a picture of Smith and Mary Swank. A young picture of a boy. I'm thinking that this Mary Swank is married to Lee Swank and Lee is a great Great uncle to me and I'm still trying to find his mother Sarah Swank who ran a boarding house in Cantril. Before Lee was married to Mary. So I'm looking in the 1898 to 1984 . Thought maybe with the Smith brothers being step children to Lee. Some one of their line might able to help me.
