In Response To: Indian Reservation in Napoleon, Iowa 1851 (Rhonda)

The village of Napolean was laid out but never established as a village directly across the Des Moines River from Bonaparte, IA in Van Buren Co. I've never heard of an Indian Reservation in Van Buren Co and really doubt this was the case.

Perhaps at a Napolean somewhere else?
