I am researching JACOB B. FORD (1804-1892) of 1860 Lick Creek Twp., Van Buren County, Iowa.
He and his brother Michael moved from Wayne County, Ohio to Washington County, Iowa about 1849.

Abt. 1850, Jacob moved to Van Buren County. I read that his first wife, CHRISTINA died in Van Buren County about 1850 or 1851, so she should be buried there somewhere...but where??

There is a man named LEVI FORD (1824-1875) who lived/died in Winchester, Van Buren County. I have seen others list him as a son of Jacob B. Ford, but I would like to find some proof of that.

My main interest in finding others related to Jacob B. Ford is to see if they know anything about our earlier FORD ancestors. Nobody has proof of the name of Jacob's father who history records moved his wife, two sons and daughter from Pennsylvania about 1810 for Wayne County, Ohio. Perhaps a distant cousin out there has some information that would help on that.
