I have an Appeline Elizabeth Christian (parentage unknown) born circa 1850, married Asrah Dukes 14Dec1867 Van Buren county, Iowa they had a daughter Ida Caroline Dukes born 14Feb1868 in Farmington, Van Buren county, Iowa. Ida died 20Jan1906 in Farmington or Bentonsport, and according to her obit Appeline and Asrah were still residents of Van Buren county. I believe Appeline may have also been married to a Silas Lear. Any information you may have on Appeline would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for any and all Dukes information Van Buren, Wapello, and Appanoose counties IA 1840-1900
