John & Nancy Paxton

Looking for information on John & Nancy (Shoemaker) Paxton, their parents and their children.

Their children are:
Caroline, Josephine, Franklin, Ezra, Violet, Jerome. My line is through Jerome Bonepart Paxton.

They lived in VanBuren County from 1848-64. He was listed as a farmer on the 1860 census. Left for the California Gold fields in 1864, but ended up settling with his family in Stockton, Utah, in July of 1864.
